Dear Colleagues and Friends,
It is a great pleasure to announce the upcoming conference:
“Evil, Love, and Responsibility in Daseinsanalysis & Existential Therapy“
which will take place in Spain in Nerja on 13–15th November 2026, also in a hybrid online format.

The conference is organized by Alfred Denker & the European Centre for Heidegger Studies, together with Rafi Miętkiewicz & Daseinanalysis Beyond Institutions. It will bring together psychotherapists, psychiatrists, philosophers, and researchers interested in the question of how the human being may be understood beyond diagnostic classification alone.
Under the theme “Evil, Love, and Responsibility in Daseinsanalysis & Existential Therapy,” we wish to address some of the most profound themes appearing in therapeutic practice: the reality of love, the manifestation of evil, the burden and possibility of responsibility, and the limits of diagnosis when confronted with the singularity of a human life.
We hope to create a space for open exchange, in which daseinanalytic, existential, phenomenological, psychotherapeutic, and psychiatric perspectives may enter into dialogue. Our aim is to follow difficult questions with courage, clinical seriousness, philosophical depth, and a readiness to encounter what appears, rather than to gather around fixed doctrine.
