1. Conference Information
Evil, Love, and Responsibility in Daseinsanalysis & Existential Therapy will take place in Nerja, Spain, from 13–15 November 2026, with the possibility of participating also in a hybrid online format.
The conference is organized by Alfred Denker & the European Centre for Heidegger Studies, together with Rafi Miętkiewicz & Daseinanalysis Beyond Institutions.
2. Submission Guidelines
Under the theme “Evil, Love, and Responsibility in Daseinanalysis & Existential Therapy,” we invite contributions that address the most difficult and profound dimensions of human existence as they appear in therapy, philosophy, psychiatry, and lived experience.
Possible topics include, but are not limited to:
- love, Eros, and therapeutic encounter
- evil, destructiveness, violence, and guilt
- responsibility, freedom, and decision
- madness, suffering, and meaning
- Daseinanalysis and existential therapy
- the ethical dimension of therapeutic work.
Presentations should be submitted in English.
Suggested presentation length: 30 minutes, followed by 15 minutes of discussion.
Abstract submission deadline: 30th of September.
Notification of acceptance: 10th of October
